About
Attained a PhD in Applied Mathematics at The University of Manchester, where my thesis title was ‘Modelling of Solute Transport Past a Disordered Uptake Field’. My supervisor and co-supervisor were Prof. Oliver E. Jensen and Dr. Igor L. Chernyavsky respectively. I previously co-organised the weekly student Informal Applied Seminar, where PhD students in applied mathematics discuss their research within the department. I also acted as treasurer for the Manchester SIAM-IMA Student Chapter, which promotes applied mathematics and computational science to both undergraduate and postgraduate university students through a variety of events.
